Ikwilopvallen.nl (I want to attract attention) is the initiative of a group of friends from Apeldoorn (Holland) that get together every year to walk de 4 day march in Nijmegen (Holland). In doing this our aim is to draw as much attention to ourselves as possible, everything being done and all the money being raised going to our chosen charity. Looking back at previous years it is safe to say that we are very successful at this. In 2004 we were followed for a whole week by a big Dutch national TV-station (SBS6), this of course generating positive publicity for the charity!

Every year we wear our pink polo-shirts sponsored by various sponsors. The colour is very bright and a big success and as a result of this attracts lots of attention from the media. This has become our way of 'seeking attention' for our good causes. The chosen charity for 2007 is "Stichting Kinderdroomwens" This is a foundation that helps the dreams and wishes of children who have had a traumatic experience in their lives come true (www.kinderdroomwens.nl).
